October Kula News!

Namaste yogis,

I am packing my bags and leaving for Colombia on Sunday! I will be spending the next month in Tayrona, Colombia, on the northern Carribean coast! This is Monica’s favorite place on earth and I am so grateful for this opportunity to travel, work from abroad, and teach yoga everyday on the beach at Gitana del Mar! Check it out here!
I’ve had Spanish music playing non-stop for weeks as I’ve been preparing to leave the studio with my wonderful staff who are going to do a stellar job while I’m gone! We have some really fun workshops and Halloween classes lined up for you in October (including blacklight “GLOWGA!”) and a special October promotion to get your friends to yoga! I am really excited to come home in time for the November Yoga Buddy Challenge and a Yoga Nidra workshop with Carin! Read more about these events in the newsletter below!
Don’t forget about Brenda’s Iyengar workshop this Sunday, with over 30 years of experience teaching in the Iyengar tradition, everyone will learn something new in this workshop! I always tell “flow people” that they should try it out – it’s so different from what we’re used to but can be SO beneficial for your alignment and body awareness in the flow!
Monica has a lot going on right now too so definitely check out her upcoming workshops, retreats and teacher trainings! NEW this year is an option to add on an extra 100 hours of Prana Vinyasa training to your certification! That’s right become 300 hour certified right out of the gate, learn more and expand your practice and understanding of yoga and give yourself a competitive edge. For any 200 hour teachers you can opt into the 100 hour add-on!
I hope that some of you will join us in COSTA RICA this May for surf, sea, and Bhakti! Santa Teresa is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL part of Costa Rica with endless beaches, amazing seashells and waves, and the most stunning and magical sunsets you’ve ever seen!
If I’m not able to see you before I take off, I am sending you a big virtual hug! I am flying into Colombia right as Hurricane Matthew heads toward Colombia so cross your fingers for smooth travels and that my surf board makes it safely as well!
Sending you love and light, wishing you magical sunny fall days and plenty of free time to enjoy them!

In Joy,
