Dear Kula (yoga community)
As the subject line suggests, we are moving to our new permanent location! In our eight years in business this will be our fourth location. We will be relocating right across the street to 326 Elk Ave, unit A, downstairs across from Pema Dawa!
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have a bigger studio space, brand new solid wood floors which are going in this week, the security of a long lease and Juliet Stillman’s exciting new business, The Downward Facing Dog Boutique sharing the space with us. The best part is, we will have heated floors again, like we did at 120 Elk Ave! Lots more surprises will unfold over the next month, we can’t wait to show you!
We are so grateful to Liz and Allen Bernholtz, who have been wonderful landlords this past year! Thank you!
We’re not 100% sure when our exact move-in date will be, but we will be opening in the new space sometime between May 15th and June 1st! If you would like to be a part of this exciting transition, let me know! Many hands make light work, and luckily we don’t have to go very far!
We have a lot going on this month at Y4P before the big move! I hope you will read on to find out more about our many workshops, and upcoming events. There’s even a surprise promo code from our friends at The Om Collection! We have special classes going on on Mother’s Day, an AcroYoga workshop, Iyengar Yoga offerings, and Monica is teaching classes during the teacher training weekend (May 26 – 29) and an Inversion Workshop!
It has been snowing for the past several weeks, in a phenomenon we refer to as “second winter” here in the Rocky Mountains. While it doesn’t quite feel like spring here yet, we know that Mother Nature is doing all the hard work and that we will be riding our bikes in no time. Many of us are still enjoying back-country skiing! Why not make it a multi-sport day and come to yoga before or after your next back-country adventure?
Beneath that fresh, white layer of snow, we know that spring is on its way. So tend to your gardens, both inside and out, do your spring cleaning projects, and start looking forward to the fun in the sun that is sure to follow! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms, and have a wonderful month of May!
